HOW WE STARTED
Wave Creations is a Long Island-based lifestyle brand designed to bring you a piece of the beach no matter your location. Inspired by growing up on the bay, the brand was founded by two sisters in 2020 (during the pandemic). Madison and Paige Governale, while still in highschool, turned their love for the beach into an entrepreneurial canvas for creativity.
Growing up, the beach was always our happy place. From sunset swimming in the bay every weekend to boating with friends, each core memory inspires each collection we create. Wave Creations started as one viral video on TikTok, now a global small business. As always, #WEARTHEWAVE 🌊

At Wave Creations, we aspire to build a community of beach lovers and adventure enthusiasts who share our same passion for exploring the world. Our mission is to bring a piece of the beach to our customers, no matter their location. Each product carries its own unique story, reflecting who we are, making every design special. Five years later, we’re excited to continue our journey together, creating designs and making more memories by the coast!

MEET THE FOUNDERS
Paige Governale (20) Co Founder: Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Paige has always been creatively inclined. Often found with a paintbrush or an açaí bowl in her hand, Paige has continually found joy in expressing herself creatively or through quiet moments of reading on the beach. While she is deeply creative, she's equally analytical, pursuing a degree in Mathematics and Finance with the same passion she brings to her artistic side. Her ability to balance both structure and her imagination is at the core of everything she does, reflecting the ebb and flow of the beach itself. Her style is something that has always been consistent, knowing who she was from a young age, rocking pink Converse when she was ten, to owning twenty pairs of sneakers at twenty. Paige loves fashion.
Madison Governale (21) Co-Founder: Like her sister, Madison was raised on Long Island with a passion for the beach lifestyle and creative mindset. A natural entrepreneur from a young age, she began reselling her old clothing at twelve, writing in her 6th grade yearbook that she wanted to start her own company, making a positive change in the world. Graduating High School in 2022, Madison continues her education studying Management, Marketing and Economics, while running Wave Creations full time. Outside of the brand, Madison has a passion for photography and creative direction, bringing her ideas to life with her digital and film camera collection. Music keeps Madison inspired and focused through both her studies and creative projects. She has a playlist for almost everything (BTW: check out our Wave Creations Summer Playlist on Spotify)!
